went on a X-country Ski trip with the four Directors of my department (Med Chem) and Discovery R&D department...*dun play play ar*...oops! we actually forgotten to take pics with them!!
truth is the directors in US are really friendly and they have no airs...
so you are most welcome to chat and join them in any activities even outside work!
OR they are trying to make the STRAT trainees from Singapore feel better in a foreign place??
moreover we actually just started out working with them...so it's good to build some bonds...
in any case, they are big heart people who are willing to pick us up from our apartments and drive us to the skiing spot that takes about 1.5 hrs....and even gave us offer coupons so that we can save money!
though we don't need them in the end as we took up the beginners' package for USD$40 which was even cheaper than using the coupons...
all thanks to them that we had the chance to have sooooo much fun skiing and sliding on tubes...
nice weather with snow falling the whole day...
i cant tell you how it feels like...it's just soooo AWESOME!!

JUST CANT GET ENOUGH OF SKIING!!
though the winter is getting really colder now and it's a tiny little bit unbearable....
especially with the chilly winds that can go through your bones...
I'm learning to get used to it slowly...
actually i'm a few level up already!! haha...
