22 Jul 2008 - Near Miss Incident

i almost or could be blind now...

it may sounds crazy,

but it really might happen!

i had a near miss incident today.

i got splashed by Methylene Chloride,

(it's not one of those "friendly chemicals")

one big drop got onto the corner of my left eye!

some got onto my face too...

flushed on the eye wash for more than 15 mins,

my eyes went all red from the water!!

luckily i could still see...

regained myself from the "shock"

and calmed myself down...

knowing that i'm alright,

i reassured my seniors that i'm fine.

i was accompanied to the company nurse for a check.

it's an accident...test tubes slipping off my grip,

and solvent splashing upwards was unavoidable.

don't worry....

i still like working in the lab!

i was so scared when it happened!

now it's over,

felt so grateful that nothing serious happened.

i still wanna see the world...

believe in what i see...

more stuffs waiting for me to explore...

i still wanna see the people i love,

see the people who love me...

and being able to see TOMORROW~

it feels good now!!
